CALIFORNIA WILDFIRES AND TEXAS FREEZE
Answering the Call: Rescuing Dogs Across California and Texas
Our journey began in California, where the wildfires had wreaked havoc and left countless animals in need. Shelters in LA already overwhelmed, we partnered with local rescues to help ease the amount of dogs in their shelter. By taking in dogs from our rescue partner in California, we helped create space for our Palm Springs partner to take in even more dogs from the LA area, offering them a chance at a better life.
While heading back from California, we learned of dogs trapped in freezing conditions in Texas, facing life-threatening temperatures with no shelter or food. Knowing we couldn’t leave them behind, we immediately diverted our route and rushed to their aid. We were able to rescue thse pups just in time, bringing them to safety.
These pups are now recovering at our ranch, where they’ll go through a two-week quarantine before being ready for adoption.
