ADOPTIONS
Walk-Ins are welcome to visit with our sweet puppies and dogs with an approved adoption application*!
Background checks, HOA pet policies and Vet Records (if applicable) will be required.
Each application is GENERAL and does not reserve a specific dog. Dogs are adopted on a first come, first serve basis.
*If you have previously submitted an application and everything has stayed the same, your application is still good, and there is no need to submit a new application!

View our available dogs and fill out our online adoption application for the pup(s) you are most interested in potentially adopting.
Meet Our Matchmakers

After we review your application, you will receive an email from our adoptions team. If it’s a good fit, we’ll schedule an interview and meet-and-greet with the adoptable pup.

Complete The Adoption
If it’s a match at the meet and greet our adoption team will go over medical records and paperwork and will help you finalize details for your new forever friend!
Adoption Fees
Adoption fees are based on dog’s age, breed, and length of stay.
Walk-ins are now being taken between the hours of 10 am-4 pm.
Purebred & Hypoallergenic Dogs
Our last adoption is at 4:00, and our last meet and greet will be conducted at 3:30.
Meet and greets do, however, require an appointment.
Mixed-Breed Dogs
Our last adoption is at 4:00, and our last meet and greet will be conducted at 3:30.

Interested in Adopting?
Once you’ve chosen the perfect pet and paid your adoption fee in full, you can bring home your best friend.
All of our rescues are spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccines, and are microchipped before adoption.
We will also send each pet home with sample food and one month’s supply of heartworm preventative medication based on available supplies.
What to Expect
All prospective adopters must fill out our application form on our website.

Once you have completed the application form, you will receive a confirmation e-mail with the title “Thank you for your submitting an adoption application with Big Dog Ranch Rescue!”

You must receive this email before the adoption process can begin, so please check your spam folders. If you did NOT receive it, you will need to re-submit your application.
