BDRR Featured on Designing Spaces

Home Improvement show Designing Spaces airing on Lifetime television, is thrilled to adopt Big Dog Ranch Rescue for an upcoming special as a part of their “Spaces of Hope” series. The Designing Spaces team will be making over some areas that need real attention for the ranch. Additionally they will be following a family as they go through the steps to add a four legged friend to their family in order to further educate the public on the adoption process for rescue dogs, this will be a heartwarming special not to be missed!

Big Dog Ranch was chosen because of their efforts to save the lives of so many dogs as well as their overall approach to pet adoptions. As the number of dogs coming through the doors continues to rise, the shelter is in need of some important improvements. Designing Spaces is thrilled for the chance to assist this wonderful organization with the much needed improvements and redesign.

By Nature® Pet Foods has built a partnership with Big Dog Ranch as the exclusive food provider and will provide 5,000 pounds of food monthly., adoption kits, and year-long campaign supporting Big Dog Ranch Rescue and educating consumers on pet rescue and responsible pet ownership for a total value of $200,000.

In cooperation with Butler Schein Animal Health, surgical equipment was donated and installed by Leading Edge Veterinary Equipment at the Big Dog Ranch Rescue so that comprehensive surgical procedures may be performed on site. Previously the ranch had to transport the animals to other facilities. With leading edge veterinary technology, the Ranch is now able to provide complete patient care and recovery, reducing clinical risk and stress for each dog. In addition to providing a complete surgical suite of equipment, personnel from Leading Edge installed and trained Big Dog Ranch’s veterinarian and technicians on use and maintenance.

VacciCheck is providing antibody titer test kits to the Big Dog Ranch Rescue.  Each kit has a value of $240 tests for the level of antibody to the 3 canine core vaccines to determine if a dog has adequate immunity & to prevent unnecessary over vaccination of dogs with adequate immunity.
