Our beloved Miss Brittany left with her Weimy friend Wesley to a foster home that plans to adopt them.  We so wanted this sweet girl to find her forever home and at the same time we will miss seeing her sweet face at BDRR.  She was the queen of the kitchen Weims.  Enjoy your new life sweet girl!

My name is Brittany.  I am beautiful Silver Weimaraner and I live at Big Dog Ranch Rescue.  I’ve been here for 10 months and trying to hard to find my forever home.  I dress up, attend all the adoption events, and spread my Weimy charms.  Everyone who meets me thinks I am wonderful and asks “Why hasn’t anyone adopted her?”

Well, there are lots of us waiting for our new families at the Ranch and often, there’s no simple answer.  I am just waiting for that perfect person to walk through the door, take one look at me and say “That’s my girl!”  I know I’m not a spring chicken at 6 years old but did you know that Weimaraners live to be 10-13 years old? Ask any of the Weimarner fans around the ranch and they’ll tell you that Weims can be nutty when they are young but get perfectly mellow around the age of….you guessed it, 6!

You’ll never find a sweeter girl than I am.  I enjoy a good walk, meeting new people and I LOVE riding in the car.  Please come visit me at the Ranch and even if I am not your cup of tea, do me a favor and consider taking one of my friends home with you. They really are a nice bunch, all very deserving and would love a spot to sleep at the end of your bed.
