Shelters are euthanizing dogs at an all-time high rate due to record owner surrenders prompted by inflation. The only way for us to increase our capacity and save more lives is to expand to a facility where our rescue efforts are desperately needed.

Our expansion will provide us with quarantine, rehabilitation, medical, and adoption facilities while growing with the resourceful community of Shorter, Alabama. More importantly, this campus will serve as a transitional hub for shelters in the Northeast allowing us to rescue and vet dogs from Southern states and transport adoptable dogs to our Northeastern rescue partners.
