Meet Buddy!
Buddy was rescued from the Bahamas, and is a 2-year-old Labrador Retriever who’s been through more than most dogs should ever have to face. Buddy carries a large scar on his back from a chemical burn he suffered before his rescue. He wears it with pride, proving that the past does not define who he is. This scar tells a story of survival and the courage of a dog who refuses to be defeated. Although Buddy is currently battling heartworms, he is well on his way to recovery. This playful, energetic dog is full of love and he’s ready for a new chapter filled with adventure and plenty of tasty meals!
